El Bimbo

This song was originally recorder by ‘Bimbo Jet’ a French group in 1975. This was played a lot by street musicians and I can see why; this is just a melody that can haunt you for a long time. It sounds instantly familiar. This version is by the Top of the Pops orchestra.
From an era where instrumental singles could turn into world-hits…sigh… someday Allice, someday…

    Yeah, my first recollection of this song was from the Police Academy movies. It definitely sticks with you!
