‘We work for GLADOS now’ is orginally known as a song called “He’s in the jailhouse now” by Web Pierce, a 50s country singer. The song was covered by the Soggy Bottom Boys and that version was used for the movie ‘O Brother where art thou’.

GLADOS is a fictionaly company in a game called portal (for the 2 non videogamers out there) hence the cover. There is something cute about singing robots, especially when they sing 50s country.

At the very end of ‘the instance’ #115 someone is singing Johnny Cash’s ‘I hold the line’ translated into Warcraftian ‘Agro is mine’. Awesome version, although I couldn’t find out who did that. Whoever you are…props to you!
