Yes, Christmas is upon us and I’m writing a post about summertime. That boggles the mind, but I can always sneak in some Billy Preston, and frankly youtube is an addicting place when you start searching for that man. I recently finished a George Harrison tribute tour, and my role was….Billy Preston of course. Playing the Hammond organ is one thing, but playing his material is another, and also a humbling experience.
Halfway during this video mr. Preston does a stunning imitation of Ray Charles, make sure you don’t skip that.

Comedy music duo Paul and Storm are going to celebrate the 25 days until Christmas with the 25 days of Newman. Yes 25 songs sung in a Randy Newman voice every day.
