Yes, you begged and begged. And I said no, no, no, but I did it anyway. Recorded the Hammond organ to test out my new olympus portable recorder. I just set te levels, and fiddled for 2 minutes on the ol’organ. No theme, no nothing. So there you go.

Manic Monday #31

This is a raw mix of the track ‘Boogie Rash’ we did last friday. Phil Martin is responsible for the recording and mixing of this. So, although the composition is mine, I feel a bit reluctant to show off the whole track. I limited this as a one minute fragment. It’s still unclear what is going to happen with this session (45 vinyl limited, or perhaps part of a bigger project), but we all agreed that no matter what, this not the last recording session we did with the philicorda.
Heck I recorded a part with a wah-pedal and that sound instantly gave me goosebumps.
The other tunes we did were even more cheesy, but it’s very hard to pick a fragment. God I love recording with a full band.

No regular audio production this week. (althoug I have been working in this H.Hancock Remix in plains trains and auto mobiles last weekend -bless my macbook)
I decided to prove Scott J. I played the extralife-tune on and off during shows, this is during a soundcheck in Avignon (France). The big guy entering the stage is This Guy with whom I play once in a while when is in Europe. The other one is the drummer. The bassplayer is filming it all. So this is a nice band collaboration.

The Summer of the Undead

Here’s a small bumper I did last week for monsterbymail (just in time for the start of summer).
I already apologised to Len for the Crappiness of this tune and agreed to do a full-zombie tune (probably next weeks manic Monday) Still, he is using this on his podcast to promote the ‘summer of the undead’.
This is just a teaser for next week, a theremin playing the rascall’s ‘groovin’.
