What is Christmas without a SuperNES, a Stylophone, a Wurlitzer and an all girls 60s choir? Nothing, I tell you!
For those of you who missed this last year, I had 2 spare days so I produced: Winter Wonderland Schnauzer Style, wishing you all a Happy Christmas!

  • Step 1.

    • Post an audioboo with the title “Stylophone through octaver through ringmod through space echo = instant rockband” (recorded with an iphone)




    • Step 2

    Get Marco Raaphorst to steal it and remix it, and post it on his blog “melodiefabriek”

    • Step 3

    Re-stole the mp3 from Marco’s blog and re-re-mixed it. This time stretching it 800% Justin Bieber style. The result is a 13 minute giant robot bee factory, not unfitting as a soundtrack for “Texas Chainsaw Massacre part XXIV”. The truly demented part starts at 1:22. That’s the bit where the mutated cyborg giants start to drag the bee corpses back to their factory.

    Since I’m breaking a few laws with this one I am not telling who are the singers nanana.
    Also it is unclear where the sampling stops and where the true schnauzer-sauce is starting. I’m just telling you can leave out the ladies and still a full track is playing for your little bear-dance. (If I’m ever planning to release this legally I would have to, don’t you just love copyright law?)
    This track is sort of a new years resolution. The resolution is: A whole lot more like this to come!

Don’t ask me why, I guess she just reminded us of one. Now the Matryomin is a cross between a Babushka and a Theremin. Even a step further below is the Matryomin Ensemble. There is something haunting about the song too. I have put this on repeat. Happy First Birhtday Bette Babushka!

    Did a quick rendition on my Fender Rhodes of the Dr.Who theme. I always wanted to do something with this, it might end up in a normal big project, who knows. I Fed the Rhodes straight into a Roland re201 Space Echo. No processing was done afterwards.

    Nothing beats tape, NOTHING! *insert frantic laughter*

In retrospect there were a lot of games I played over and over just to hear the theme-music again. This was one of the musical highlights, and now it is done on ukelele’s. I’ll give this one 3 out of 5 crappy guitarplayers for just trying.
